Workshop: Clinical Trials in Small Populations (Methodological Challenges and Solutions)
The Medical Research Council’s Network of Hubs for Trials Methodology Research is pleased to announce a two-day meeting on clinical trials in small populations. This meeting will bring together researchers and practitioners to discuss state-of-the-art methods for trials in small populations.

Groundwork Training Workshop (30th November 2015) will be an interactive workshop aimed at statisticians and numerate scientists featuring
- Discussion sessions motivated by case studies of real trials
- Tutorials on methods for small trials
- Hands-on practical sessions.
Forwards-Looking Forum (1st December 2015) will comprise invited talks on state-of-the-art methods for trials in small populations.
Confirmed speakers include: Prof Nicky Best, Nick Catlin, Simon Day, European Medicines Agency, Prof Ralf-Dieter Hilgers, Dr Marie-Cecile Le Deley, Prof Martin Posch, Prof Kit Roes, Prof Nigel Stallard.
